Using FSC certified board for your packaging brings a lot of environmental benefits. Using carton board over other materials is environmentally beneficial but using a material with FSC certification takes that up a notch. Forests are responsibly managed and raw materials protected for future generations, CO2 emissions are controlled through effective forest management, wildlife is protected and parts of FSC forests are preserved completely to preserve endangered plants and animals.
It is worth noting that although the FSC logo is a selling point on your packaging that it does not need to be printed or visible if your artwork does not allow for it due to size or other restrictions.
